A Computational Approach to Pocklington Certificates in Type Theory

چکیده
Pocklington certificates are known to provide short proofs of primality. We show how to perform this in the framework of formal, mechanically checked, proofs. We present an encoding of certificates for the proof system Coq which yields radically improved performances by relying heavily on computations inside and outside of the system (twolevel approach). 1 Formal Computational Proofs 1.1 Machines and the Quest for Correctness It is generally considered that modern mathematical logic was born towards the end of 19 century, with the work of logicians like Frege, Peano, Russell or Zermelo, which lead to the precise definition of the notion of logical deduction and to formalisms like arithmetic, set theory or early type theory. From then on, a mathematical proof could be understood as a mathematical object itself, whose correction obeys some well-defined syntactical rules. In most formalisms, a formal proof is viewed as some tree-structure; in natural deduction for instance, given to formal proofs σA and σB respectively of propositions A and B, these can be combined in order to build a proof of A ∧B:

Analysis of implementation of Tradable Green Certificates system in a competitive electricity market: a game theory approach
This paper investigates three models to implement Tradable Green Certificates (TGC) system with aid of game theory approach. In particular, the competition between thermal and renewable power plants is formulated in three models: namely cooperative, Nash and Stackelberg game models. The price of TGC is assumed to be determined by the legislative body (government) which is fixed. Numerical examp...
متن کاملThermoelastic Vibration of Temperature-Dependent Nanobeams Due to Rectified Sine Wave Heating—A State Space Approach
In this study, the second type of Green and Naghdi's thermoelasticity theory is applied to present the vibration of a nanobeam subjected to rectified sine wave heating based upon the nonlocal thermoelasticity theory. Both Young's modulus and thermal conductivity are considered to be linear functions of the temperature. The Laplace transform domain is adopted to solve the governing partial diffe...
متن کاملEvaluating different scenarios for Tradable Green Certificates by game theory approaches
Right now employment of polices and tools to decrease the carbon emission through electricity generation from renewable resources is one of the most important problem in energy policy. Tradable Green Certificate (TGC) is an economics mechanism to support green power generation. Any country has the challenge to choose an appropriate policy and mechanism for design and implementation of TGC. The ...

Abstract This author introduces the concept of Stepwise Strategy Approach (SSA) for dealing with a number of problems arises in the current age of technology. This new idea is combined with the knowledge of Grey Theory for adding flexibility to decision making process. Grey theory is useful for grasping the ambiguity exists in the utilized information and the fuzziness appears in the human judg...
متن کاملElectromagnetic Field Coupling to Arbitrary Wire Configurations above a Lossy Ground Using the Antenna Theory Approach
The paper deals with the electromagnetic field coupling to multiple wires of arbitrary shape above a lossy ground using the antenna theory approach. The problem is formulated in terms of the set of Pocklington integro-differential equations which is solved via the Galerkin-Bubnov scheme of the Boundary Element method (GB-IBEM). Some illustrative computational examples related to power line comm...
